Ken Block announced at the beginning of the year he'd be taking his freshly-built Ford Escort Cosworth rally car around the world to compete in all types of fun events. Fast-forward to now, and he's raced in the US, Poland, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and more. Block's latest stop on his world rally tour took him to San Marino in Italy for the annual Rally Legends event. It looks like he had a blast.
Block's car isn't just any Cosworth—it's a heavily modified example with widened fenders, long-travel suspension, and a 371-horsepower turbocharged inline-four engine sending power to all four wheels via a sequential transmission. It's designed to keep up with most of today's modern top-tier rally cars, and that's exactly what it does. This video is full of jumps, slides, and flames, as you'd expect from Mr. Hoonigan himself.
